The entry, completely reformulated compared to the first edition of the Dictionary of the year 2013, deals with public/private relations tracing, in diachronic perspective, the two main lines in which these relations are articulated. The first one has its fulcrum in the thematization of political individualism, starting from the radical formulation -still mainly theological although already with a significant political-legal outline- of Luther, to reach the formulations of the 'minimum state' of Nozick. The second line taken into consideration is, instead, the one that projects a more or less radical fusion of the private into the public and the salient steps are those drawn from the thought of Rousseau, Hegel, Marx, mentioning the subsequent totalitarian elaborations. We examine then the contemporaneity and to the complete fusion between public and private in a horizon of loss of identity of the individual - and even more so of human person - in the thoughts of Foucault, Butler, Deleuze.

Abstract
We examine then the contemporaneity and to the complete fusion between public and private in a horizon of loss of identity of the individual - and even more so of human person - in the thoughts of Foucault, Butler, Deleuze.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
